How to Prepare

Get ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime! Before we begin, let’s make sure you’re fully prepared with everything you’ll need for the incredible journey ahead

Packing

We suggest bringing a smaller bag (preferably waterproof) for your daily essentials. While your larger luggage will be safely stored on the boat until we reach the final destination, keeping a smaller bag with you ensures easy access to necessities and helps maintain safety and space on board.

Here is a list of items we suggest you pack in your small bag:

Light clothing for 4 nights

Raincoat & light jacket

2-3 Swimwear or Bikini

Eco-Friendly Sunscreen

Camera & charger

Books, Music & Games

Essential Medicine

Insect repellent

Flashlight

Towel

Snacks & Drinks

Good Spirit

No shoes needed for the next 5 days—barefoot or flip-flops is the way to go. Disconnect from the internet, connect with others, and enjoy this unforgettable social adventure!

Good Spirit

Get ready to disconnect from the modern world and step outside your comfort zone. This is your chance to embrace diversity, learn from different cultures, and celebrate what makes us unique. Flexibility is key, as plans may change during the trip—we’re on Caribbean island time, where life moves at a relaxed and unhurried pace. Use this opportunity to connect with fellow travelers, share stories, and build friendships while engaging with our crew of both foreign guides and native Kuna islanders. Embrace the unexpected, enjoy the slower rhythm, and create lifelong memories in this one-of-a-kind adventure.

Payments & currency exchange

Please ensure that you have all the necessary cash ready before departure. We recommend leaving ample time to withdraw cash, as you may encounter a daily limit on the amount you can withdraw, depending on your bank and the ATM.

If you’re leaving Colombia, you’ll need some USD to cover transport and taxes in Panama. Last minute solution you’ll be able to exchange in Capurgana after the pre-departure meeting.

Why We Ask for Cash Payments?

We kindly request the remaining balance in cash (USD), the official currency of Panama. Paying in cash helps us directly support the local communities that make your adventure truly special. From our incredible crew to the stunning islands, much of your trip is made possible by the efforts of local families and communities.

By accepting cash, we ensure your money goes directly to them, uplifting these communities and strengthening our collaboration.

Thank you for your understanding and support—wishing you an unforgettable journey filled with adventure, connection, and paradise vibes!
